Proudmoore Valley was long thought to be a barren wasteland. It sat uninhabited and lifeless for nearly a century before a wealthy eccentric looking to escape society made the valley his home. With his amazing knowledge of all things green, he soon turned the land into a livable area with lush forests and healthy plains. Upon his death, the old man’s will stated that two letters be sent at random.
With the inheritance money in one hand, and the land deed in another, two families set out to make Proudmoore Valley their new home. It just so happens that one family carries the Proudmoore name. Are they of any relation to the former hermit, or is it simply a coincidence? Either way, the quiet valley will never be the same.
When the letter with the deed to a plot of real estate and some starting cash landed on Daelin’s doorstep, he was apprehensive. He’d never known his great Uncle and wasn’t too keen to drag his impressionable teenager off to some great unknown wilderness. However, the divorce settlement had left him strapped for cash and Jania was walking the thin line towards expulsion. Without any other choice, the two begrudingly put up roots in the desolate valley.
