Living in a dormitory that holds 18 people can get quite hectic at times. Especially when they utilize ‘regular’ bathrooms. You’ll find random dormies studying, smustling, and just plain chattering away the day while some poor soul tries desperately to reach the toliet and shoo them all away.
Of course, with Brice added into the mix, things just got all the more interesting. Jania had never gotten to know the young man before, but now that he was in the same dorm house, she didn’t have a choice. He was on her list of soon-to-be best friends.
Not surprisingly, the two got along very well. There was nothing romantic in their actions, it was purely friendly. Neither shared even the slightest bit of chemistry. They just had fun together. Jania guided Brice in the ways of college and he helped her clean. They kept the dormitory in good working order.
Of course, it wasn’t long until Brice flexed his Derico charm. He started hitting on this cute girl he’d seen in the cafeteria. He wasn’t ready for anything serious, just a little fun. She seemed to be willing.
Meanwhile, Jania was making some fire of her own. Sterling had since come out of his weird ‘funk’. He walked up to Jania and just planted one on her lips after not speaking to her for several days. As Jania’s popularity was growing, everyone knew about their on again, off again romance. It was like the campus’ own little Soap Opera.
After waiting a horribly long time, Brice finally got was he was seeking. He finally got his first kiss! He was tired of being the odd man out. Now he could really flex that charm. Watch out ladies, here he comes!
One lady in particular caught his eye; a lovely red head with a diva’s sense of style and a great body to match. How could he resist her beauty? Before long, he was sweeping her off her feet. They barely knew one another, but the sparks were definitely flying. It was a magnetic attraction.
Unfortunately, his previous fling seemed to think herself as something more. She caught Brice and the infamous Julie Tsang kissing and threw a fit. How could he do that to her? She thought she’d meant something to him! She gave him quite a slap before starting in on Julie.
Brice was shocked. They shared a kiss, that was all. He never told her he loved her or even remotely liked her! It didn’t matter. Julie put the estranged woman in her place, slapping her right back. Brice knew that Julie was the girl for him right there and then.
The couple often found themselves downtown in very intimate embraces. They made use of everything they could find; hot tubs, photo booths, and changing rooms. Their passion for one another seemed untameable. Brice’s schoolwork began to suffer.
Jania found herself doing something she hated; she lectured Brice. How could he be so stupid? Where was his head? Now Big Woman on Campus, Jania felt a responsbility for the wayward soul. She would be leaving soon and Brice would be on his own. So he’d better get his head straight or else.
While Brice thought things over, Jania went to have a talk with Julie. They’d been friends for awhile. After expressing her concerns, the two girls engaged in a pillow fight. Julie couldn’t be serious. What was the point? It was college! Live for the today, not tomorrow. Besides, Jania never could resist a good pillow fight.
In an effort to secure her ‘legend’, Jania found herself doing silly things. She cheated at darts and was never once caught. Who would suspect the Big Woman on Campus of cheating? She was a saint! A saint of partying, but a saint nonetheless.
It definitely worked to her advantage.
Soon the fun ended and it was time for Jania to graduate. She did so with a 3.9 grade average. With a deep breath and a calm mind, Jania Proudmoore stepped over the threshold to adulthood. Now she would attain her true goal. She would become the Mayor of Proudmoore Valley.
Meanwhile, Brice had thought about what Jania told him. He decided she was right and he really did need to think clearly. He would continue to see Julie, but with a new purpose in life. Julie Tsang would no longer be just a flavor of the week. He would make her his wife.
