Residents: Davina Derico, Sade Derico, Alice Proudmoore, Serena Derico, Damian Derico
Serena: Hey there, my name is Serena Derico. I’m taking over this time ‘cause Alice has been banned from this for a bit. She’s too depressing! I mean, I feel for the girl, but wow. That’s just… yeah. Well, I’m here with my twin brother, Damian. We just arrived and got accepted into the Greek house. How awesome is that? Way awesome.
Damian’s first order of business was a change of looks. Why is his hair orange? Well, that’s what happens when you let Davina have free reign over your hair. Damian likes it, surprisingly. Davina swears she did it on purpose, but who in their right mind would purpously make someone’s hair bright orange? Yeah, really.
Of course, with Damian being the only boy currently in the house… we really didn’t have anywhere to put him. So he offered to pass out on the floor. Actually, he said he’d take the couch, but we always found him snoozing away on the floor. It didn’t bother him at all, but the rest of us felt bad.
Alice was the one to make a sacrifice. She gave up her room and bunked up with me and Sade. It was cramped, but we all got along pretty well. Plus, we were all sick of tripping over Damian.
College is turning out to be a blast! I’m real big on partying like there’s no tomorrow and this is just the perfect place for it. Not to mention it was date city!
That’s right, I’m out on the town with a professor. Davina let me in on the little secret and I figured I’d kill two birds with one stone. No big, though. I’m not in it for the Romance, just the good time. Its never love and hardly ever crushing… just two people with mutual interests livin’ large for an evening. Oh, and an A+ on all assignments, too!
Seems my normally introverted brother is finally noticing girls. Unfortunately, that girl is Alice! What is this? Sims of Our Lives? Man, this is crazy. He knows she’s head over heels for Brice. Why would he fall for her? This could get ugly. I like Alice and all, but Damian is my brother… my TWIN brother. Its my duty to protect him.
Maybe its just a small crush. I mean, with how flighty Damian tends to be, it probably is. I hope…
Another surprise is just how smart Davina is. I mean, everyone sees her as this major party girl who really likes men. Behind closed doors, she’s like a super nerd! Everyone asks her for homework help and even though she kisses up to the professor, she aces her term papers without ever picking up a book! I really think she missed her calling in life.
I could never be that smart… too much work. Life is short. You gotta enjoy it while it lasts!
Poor Damian. I don’t think anyone told him how the professors at this University are. He invited Professor Rosemary over for some help with his studies and she took it the wrong way. My brother is an inexperienced doof when it comes to the ladies, so he was horrified. Professor Rosemary left in a huff. Why else would a student want her to come over?
Lousy professor. She’s lucky I wasn’t there at the time. I would’ve run her off. Hitting on my brother like that, man. She’s too old!
Of course, then there’s Alice. With each passing day, Damian’s crush is developing into much more. It doesn’t help that’s she’s unknowningly ushering it along! I mean, c’mon! How can she NOT know? No wonder she likes Brice. They’re both dense as cement blocks.
Poor Damian. We’ve all tried to warn him, but he won’t listen to us. Men can be so retarded!
Sometimes, though, none of us acts like real college kids. We’re all clean freaks, no doubt about it. So its not unusual to see us fighting over things that need cleaning! Its really funny and stupid at the same time. The other day I caught Sade and Alice going at it over a stupid puddle.
Even though we may not be around each other as much as we used to, Damian and I are still like two peas in a pod. Whenever we can, we find time to spend with one another. He’s been avoiding me lately, because everytime I see him I’m lecturing him about Alice. What? Can’t a girl protect her brother?
He just says that I have no business lecturing him about anything. It always ends in some sort of mouth battle. We always make up, but I hate fighting with him. If I wanted to be really cruel, I could always tell our parents about it. Bet your bottom dollar that mom would NOT be pleased! But I won’t, ‘cause he’s my bro… and its his own stupid fault if he gets hurt.
I’m still living it up. So many dates, so little time! I met this guy one day while I was getting groceries. He walked right up to me and we started talking. I admired his boldness, so I agreed to go on a date with him. I wasn’t disappointed. He was an awesome date!
I don’t think he quite understands the situation, though. We’re just friends who went on a date, nothing more. I mean, he gave me flowers and everything! It was sort of unnerving. I tried to explain how it works, but he wasn’t having any of it. Oh well, its not like I have to see him again. I’ll just avoid him.
I wish I was as good with men as Davina is. She’s got them wrapped around her finger within seconds of meeting them! She even conned this one professor she barely knows into fixing out stereo so we could throw a party. He did it without asking any questions. Man, that’s some power. If I could do that, I wouldn’t have that weirdo stalker following me around!
Well, I mean… yeah I told him to do my term paper, but he was supposed to leave afterwards!
Of course, Brice came to the party. Not that he didn’t have every right to, he had helped start the Greek House, after all. It was just… well. He was back to his old tricks, stringing Alice right along like she was doing to poor Damian. It was sad to see. How could he be so blind? How could she be so stupid? Man… maybe her and Damian are a good match after all.
Luckily, there’s people like me to keep those bubble heads grounded. What? I can be serious! I can! Its just a lot more fun to do other things. Pfft. Like I need to prove anything to you, anyway.
Sigh. I know. I’m on a date with stalker boy again. I couldn’t help it. He called me up and I just didn’t have the heart to turn him down. This is it, though. No more dates after this! We’re done, and I won’t see him again. I won’t even make him write my term papers anymore.
Well, not unless its really hard and I’ve got a date lined up that night. What? A girl’s gotta have her priorities straight!
Damian was trying really hard to get through to Alice, especially after the party. He was practically brooding the entire night. Brice and Alice were always talking or dancing, it was really getting to him. Unfortunately, Alice was as clueless as ever… same with my brother. As you can see, Damian ditched the carrot top for his natural color. He’s like a lost puppy when it comes to that girl.
Like, he thought she was recoiling in horror at something he’d said. No, she was actually horrified at the naked man dancing behind him. Man, now there’s a dude! If I could just catch him, we’d totally exchange digits. Someone that carefree is definitely my type!
Can you imagine everyone’s surprise when Alice suddenly made an advance on Damian? It was a quiet morning, like every other morning. Everyone was doing their thing… when we noticed that both Damian and Alice were missing. I offered to go find them, and what did I see? Alice was chatting up Damian in a non-platonic way!
What the?! Even I can’t make sense of that. Did she finally decide to give up on Brice? I mean, he’s married and clearly a fool for Julie. It just doesn’t seem right, though. I mean… to go from drowning in unrequited love to hittin’ on the guy’s little brother.
Not to mention Alice is older than Damian! This just ain’t right. No way, man. Wow.
Regardless of what we all think, its still happening. They both shared their first kiss, an event I accidentally witnessed when I’d gone out for a swim one evening. Didn’t he realize she’d be leaving in a day or two?
On the night before graduation, Damian asked Davina if he could use her room. She, being the romantic that she is, said yes! YES! What?! Oh MAN! I mean, yeah… I like to date and stuff, but I don’t do THAT! Do you think I wanna get pregnant? No way. I’m not that kind of girl and my brother is NOT that kind of guy. Or atleast, he’s not supposed to be!
This is just… I don’t know. What’s going to happen when Sade, Davina, and Alice leave? Damian and I still have two more years here! Do they really expect their relationship to last that long? I hope, for my brother’s sake, it does.
Mom is NOT going to be happy.
The next day, my two sisters and Alice left. Damian was pretty quiet. He and Alice acted like nothing was different. You could feel it, though. Tension. Thick enough to cut with a butter knife. Yeah, it was pretty bad. After the taxi left, Damian was moping around.
Serena to the rescue, once again. One of these days I’m not going to be around to take care of him. What’s he gonna do then?
Once again, all actions were done by the sims. Especially the whole Alice and Damian romance thing. Sure, I was helping them become friends… but that’s because it was in their wants. I strung a bunch of interactions in hope of getting them to best friends and then suddenly Alice starts flirting with him. Which is odd, as she only has one bolt towards him… and that isn’t enough to set off auto-flirt. Oh well!
I’m also really upset about my pictures because I haven’t been able to install Adobe Photoshop 7 on this computer… so the programs I use keep making them blurry. Argh.
