Residents: Blazej & Jania Jeffress, Louis & Loraine Proudmoore, Aiden Proudmoore

Loraine: My name is Loraine Proudmoore, and I like money. In fact, I like it so much I married into it. That’s right, the Derico name is gone. Now I have real power, and I use it well. My career is coming along quite well. Soon… I’ll be a household name. Though probably not in the way most like to be known as! Heh.

I’ll bet you think I have it wonderful, don’t you? You’re wrong. You see, my ‘darling’ huband is having an affair. Not with just any person, however… he’s having an affair with my niece. Yes, apparently he has a taste for us Derico women. He tries to hide it, but I see right through his affectionate guises. Guilt. Plain and simple. It seems everyone has that look… it seems everyone knows but me. But I know, oh I’ve always known. I predicted he would stray before the thought even crossed his mind. Louis is a very… charismatic individual. Its hard not to get caught up in it. I did, and look at me now…

It doesn’t stem from his parents. Those two are still all over one another. It’s kind of sickening, really. How they can act like everything is all right when they know their son is off having a merry time with Kitty Derico. Yes, my beloved little niece… the misguided and misunderstood twin who never knew her philandering mother.
Boo hoo. I hope she chokes on an ice cube.

I’m not going to take this lying down. I’m just not that type. I’m a fighter. If I was as ridiculous as the rest of my family, I’d credit it to the ‘Derico’ genes. But no, its just divine motivation. I get what I want. I’m a Proudmoore, aren’t I? Kitty is interefering with that. She is a risk. It would be different if it were a mere fling that wasn’t family; that I could rid of easily. Darling Kitty, however, is going to take some skill. Thankfully, I have more than enough. I just need to be patient and pretend like everything is fine while I gather information from the most unlikely of sources.
My sister Serena is a veritable fountain of information. She knows and she doesn’t care… though she’d never actually tell me outright. That’s okay. I’m getting all I need from her.

Jania Jeffress knows. Oh, does she ever know. Judging by the looks on her face, she’s even seen it. Will she tell me? Oh, of course not. Louis is her pride and joy, she wouldn’t dare rat him out. Needless to say… Jania and I don’t get along very well anymore. She’s pretty observant for her old age… and judging by the tension in the air lately, she knows something is up.
Too bad she’ll never figure it out in time.

Aiden is oblivious. He’s too busy wrapped up in his child-like innocence to see what’s going on around him. While this is a good thing, if he were to see… it would only bend in my favor. After all, who will he villianize? Certainly not me, the doting mother and wife, who was so cruelly betrayed by the man she loved.
What? He’ll find out eventually. We can’t be young and naive forever. I’m just trying to soften the situation a tad.

He’s already noticed that ‘Aunt Kitty’ is always around when mommy is at work. In fact, he said so while the Headmaster of the Valley’s most prestigious Academy was over. It took quite a bit of charisma to smooth that one over. I’m going to have to talk to Aiden about his dining etiquitte… you never let the guest know how dysfunctional your family is!

My patience wears thin with each passing day. I’m closer to my goal, but I want my revenge now. It isn’t fair that I work day in, day out knowing that while I’m gone, she’s there. Sometimes I can even smell that terrible perfume she wears. Its quite awful, really. I’m finding it hard to pretend everything is okay. I’ve taken to either sleeping on the couch or not sleeping at all. Being what I am, I have access to quite a few nice little devices. My time will soon come… though I fear it may not be soon enough.

While I plot and ponder, those two are only fueling the fire. I don’t necessarily want to hurt my husband. He may be a cheating and philandering jerk, but he’s mine. Not Kitty’s. She will learn not to trifle with what does not belong to her. The odacity… my own family member! I can remember seeing her as an infant.
I hope she falls down a flight of stairs.

My dream has been realized. I have brought the world of organized crime to our peaceful little valley. Now is the time to act. No one will know… it will be swift, and quick. It is time that my dearest husband and niece find out who exactly they are messing with.
No one can stop me now.
